edited November 2009 in For Sale (FS) Classifieds
I am looking to reduce my collection of speakers. Have moved to LSi9's for fronts and am looking for an LSi-C. So really no need for these any longer. This is my first sale on this thread so forgive me for errors in my post. If you want better photos of something then just ask.

If you buy all 3 items then deduct 10%. If you buy 2 items then deduct 5%. Discounts apply to shipping as well except if I have to ship the R50's since I have no idea what they will cost. We can work something out. Paypal add 3%.

Of course selling local (central MA) is always easier so I am offering the deal to local people for 5 days (ending the 17th evening) then I will open to shipping. If interested but not local then please reply to thread to have first dibs. I may be traveling for work all next week so I will not be able to ship next week.

1) Black RTi6's. $180 shipped. $150 local.

As you can see they are in good condition. In picture 9 (bottom of speakers) there is a little wear on the corner were the veneer has chipped/scrapped off. Pictures 9 and 10 also show a couple of marks where the surface finish has come off when I removed 4 extra rubber bumpers. Again, these are on the bottoms and are not that noticeable.

2) Cherry CSi5. $200 shipped, $150 local. Purchased from Tweeter. I do not have the original box so I really want to sell this local. Hence the higher price in shipping. The unit was a Tweeter demo so it has a few dings mainly to the bottom but nothing too major. The drivers themselves are in perfect order. The speaker sounds great. Dings noticeable in images 5, 7, 8, 11-14.

3) Cherry R50's... $80 local only since shipping makes no sense on these. I have the boxes but I threw out the padding for one of the speakers. If someone really wants these shipped then we can arrange a deal. Purchased from Frys in Jan 2008. No pics online but I can take photos if really interested. There is a small dime sized ding (not in finish, but wood is pushed in ever so slightly) on the back corner half way up of one of the speakers which is barely noticeable unless you are a foot away. They came this way.

Any other questions please ask.

    Man Max.

That is one of the MOST thorough photo shoots of a set of Polk speakers perhaps ever seen here! Meticulous. If I were in the market I'd be buying--so hopefully someone will step in here. We finally get someone who is not too far from me and I don't need anything! What fortune?

Good luck with the sale. Some great prices. If anyone needs some towers quick at a ridiculous price those R50s are a nice starter system for some one. Actually the entire set is!

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I know the prices are a bit low. I want these to sell quickly, and I have benefited from nice discounted items in the FS section so I am passing the courtesy. BTW, I am also open to trades (with money exchange depending on what you buy), but the only thing I am really in the market for is an LSi-C and a musical sub.

Entire set as a starter system... you bet. Use the RTi6's and CSi5 for the soundstage and the R50's as rears.

Does your CSI5 just crush your RTi4s? You would be happy with the 6s and moving the 4s to surround duty. Hope you get them.

That makes absolutely no sense. ^^

Great prices. If I had the money, the 6's would be mine. Shouldn't have any trouble selling at those prices. Good luck with the sale.

Bump for the locals... Maybe the local people don't realize what a good deal this is. If you buy all 3 you get 10% off so they will cost:

    CSi5 - $135
    RTi6's - $135
    R50's - $72

That's is an insane price! They are priced this way because I really want to sell locally and quickly. Also, I don't mind if you buy them then flip them at a higher price.

Local preference ends Sunday at 8pm EST. 66chevyIISS is first in line for the RTi6's. Finally, it looks like I will not be traveling next week. So I can ship on Monday.

I will take photos of the R50's tonight and post. If you are interested in the RTi6's you will have to be a little quick on these since there is someone inline for shipping. Finally, I just found out today that my trip is back on (until they change their mind for the 5th time). So I will be out all next week.

eclimax13, here are your photos. The blemish to one of the speakers is in photo #8. It is about 1/2 inch long. The macro lens makes it look worse than looking at it with the naked eye. Again, 1 foot away and you don't even notice. It is on the back-corner of the right most speaker in photo 5 about 1.5 feet off the ground. If you zoom into the photo you can almost see it. Yes, I was too lazy to clean the dust of the bases.

I always liked the look of the R50's in Cherry. But alas, I have moved on.

Assuming 66chevy still wants the RTi6's, time is running out on the 10% off deal. If he does buy them then you can still get the 5% off deal. Finally, it's confirmed that I am traveling next week so I can't ship anything until I get back.
