This has become annoying, much like C3PO.

That is also my sentiment. I've been wishing this thread would disappear for quite some time already ...

There could be many reasons for this, sit tight and wait for Polks reply so you know what it is. For me or anyone else to speculate on what it might be would be worthless. You seem to be pretty active on here so I'm sure if you are ever in the need of a price check someone here will be willing to help.
Would anyone be kind enough to provide me with the MSRP for the VINTAGE RM20 5packs pleaaase ;)

I have came across a Canadian deal which I would like Canadians to benefit from and possibly Polk benefitting by getting them sold in a record time (if the deal is good, one pack is mine again;))

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

We have a lucky winner ;) Good thing you have written the price in the thread cause when I go to your link, I still do not see the MSRP (allergic to CDNS ;))

    Thank you apphd!

FYI-There is a footnote on that price:
¹ Prices reflect manufacturer's US and Canadian suggested retail prices.

You would probably get a better response by contacting Polk Customer Service with your queries.

Thank you for your comment mmadden however, the footnote is useless since I can not see the MSRP and do the proper comparision. Taking the offer of asking fellow Polkies for MSRP is/was efficient (approx 45 min) and better approach since I got and instant response and did not need to disturb Polk's CS. The confirmation of Polk's MSRP + Polk direct pricing with suggeted MSRP brought me quickly to the conclusion the CDN store offer (FS) was actually a good deal and in fact I secured (ordered) another pack for my self and felt confident to call the deal on other fellow CDNs. Why disturb Polk's CS when the answer is readily available by willing fellow Polkies? I think this is better approach than the original one, wouldn't you agree ;) (even if I still feel CDNs are somewhat left in the dark, might as well use a more proactive and positve approach to problem solving/solution, right?)

    Cheers!

I guess I'm up too late again, I was thinking that you asked at 9:30pm the night before, but I guess that was before I realized it was already after midnight (my time). So in retrospect and considering the time, yes you got a better response.

I only mentioned the footnote FYI, Polk felt the need to put it there, I didn't know if it would mean anything to you so I mentioned it.

Besides, MSRP is not the price you should be basing any purchasing decisions on. If you do then you may be paying too much for whatever it is you're shopping for.

Agreed, I never paid MSRP for any of my Polk speakers but the MSRP is always a good reference to start along with good on line window shopping and local store window shopping to finally go to your favorite store with amo for proper dealing. Yet the US dollar is still slightly stronger than the CDN dollar and on Polk direct bids starts at 150$ US with buy now at 399$ US for refurb and CDN online store offers the new 5 pack for 399$ CDN w/30$ shipping in my area. I conclude/consider the deal is fair especially the rm20s have been pretty hard to find the last year or so in Canada.

    Cheers!

You can reference the US MSRP, then use your brain to convert....or not.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
