How high up should I mount the FXiA4's that I have coming? Couch sits about two feet from back wall.
It's all in the detail.

You'll probably get a different opinion with every response...
Standard placement by older DPL standards is 3 feet above your head -- some people still think this sounds best.
Dolby now says for 7.1 and 5.1 applications, getting the tweeters to ear-level is best.
Some say rule of thumb is to get the tweeters for the surrounds at equal height to your fronts.
The best thing is to experiment and see what sounds best to you. In my opinion, there's no right or wrong when it comes to the height of the surrounds so long as the system sounds good. -
I'm running my fxi a6's about two feet above ear level.

Just play around with the positions and see which one sounds best.

I prefer my surround speakers to be a little bit above ear level, but nowhere near 2-3 feet. The tweeters on my surround speakers are currently about 8-10 inches above my ear level. The woofers are pretty much at the same level as my ears. The speakers are about 1.5 feet behind the couch, and about 2 feet to either side of it. They could probably stand to be moved back another foot or two, but that's as far back as I can get them with my setup right now.
I have them toed in so that they're firing right towards my ears. Mine aren't bi-poles though, they're front firing. I don't know if you'd really need to toe the bi-poles in at all, I'm guessing not.
I've played around with placement quite a bit recently and I've found that to be the sweet spot for them. I just finally got them placed and tweaked to where I think I'm happy with them last night actually.:)The nirvana inducer-

By looking at his picture, I was thinking about 8"-12" lower than how he has his. But you're probably right, I'll have to try them out at different heights. It's all in the detail.
