Polk pair RM7 or RM8's

I am looking for a pair of RM7 or RM8's to be used as my surround speakers. The wife factor over rode me on the surrounds. The RTi A3's up front were fine, but nothing like that at the rear.

Thanks

I've been checking eBay out quite often. Never see much of them on there. I am looking for a black pair though. I'll just go without for a while, until I find what I want. Unless I can convince the wife that the FXi's would look alright as my surrounds.

id like to go wit somethn a little better myself but i like more compact smaller speakers.idk how u missed the black pair that were up there bout a week ago it was actually an rm85 package sold for around 185 it was worth just to get the rm8's out of it considering they retail for 250 alone which i think is crazy considering i got an rm95 pk for 500 and a free psw110 at frys.i wish ida got it now

I received my Rti A3's this week and after that is when the wife factor kicked in that she didn't want those arge of speakers in the rear of the room. So now the search goes on for some RM series speakers to use as surrounds until she changes her mind.... I'm just very happy that I could get away from the Bose Surround that we had before due to the visual appeal of it.

I likewise am stuck on the rock halfway across the stream. (I upgraded from an old Aiwa STIB!) Fortunately, it's a big enough of a rock (2.0, with the option to 2.1, once I get off my but and get a longer interconnect, to go *around* the door frame).

Anyway, regrets I can only offer support, not pointers to RMs.
