Hi,

I am about to receive my new apartment, I already have my speaker setup, but I have to change my actual amp/receiver. I need some help in order to order the adequate product.

My speakers are:

2 BOSE Virtually Invisible 191 for the dining room.
1 BOSE Acustimass 6 series III system for the TV room.
2 Polk Audio RTi 12 for the living room.

My receiver is:

YAMAHA RX-V359
5.1-Channel Digital Home Cinema Receiver

High performance receiver provides excellent value. Many desirable features including CINEMA DSP, SILENT CINEMA, realistic surround programmes and three component video inputs.
The RX-V359 has the following Main Features:
Advanced Facilities

* 3 digital inputs (2 optical and 1 coaxial)
* Fixed and assignable terminals
* Speaker A or B selection

High Sound Quality

* 5.1-channel, 500W powerful surround sound (100W x 5 per Channel)
* 192kHz/24-bit D/A converters for all channels

High Picture Quality

* HDTV compatible 3 component video inputs

Surround Realism

* Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding
* 7 DSP programmes: 4 CINEMA DSP and 3 HiFi DSP
* Night Listening mode and SILENT CINEMA

These three areas are in an open space, separated only by small furniture. I hace actually a Yamaha receiver working with all the speakers, except the Polk. Now that I have to setup my system, I'll need some help to see if my receiver is enough or if I should think in upgrading to another. Also I believe that the BOSE Virtually Invisible 191 don't handle to much power and I wouldn't like tu burn them.

The Polk speakers can be bi-amped, and I believe I can obtain a great sound from them if i work this way. I think that if maybe I purchase a speaker selector I could work this way, but again, I really don't know.

Please give me advice about the possible selections for system. I believe that at least I should buy a speaker selector, but if there is also an excellent way to setup these speakers with only one receiver, or with a preamplifier and amplifier set.

Rgds,
