4 bridged adcom gfa 535's into 2 RTi10's?

Okay i used to own an Adcom Gfa 535 and a gfa 545. I had speakers that had two inputs in the back and i used the 535 for the highs and mids and then i used to 545 for the lows. Is this what the word BI-AMPing means?
Okay. In two days or so, I am purchasing a pair of Polk RTi10's, which also have two inputs in the back of each speaker.
I was wondering if i could buy four Adcom GFA 535's and run one of them to each terminal on the back of the pair of RTi10's. IF this will work or not, i dont know but i know that it will sound incredible because the gfa 535 @ 60 wpc easily beats the hell out of amps that claim double the power.
So the question is... would it be possible to hook up four Adcom GFA 535's power amps up to two RTi10's by bridging the adcom amps?
Cant wait to hear from you.

You can do it, but unless you already own them, purchasing 4 of any amp seems like a odd method to amplify a pair of stereo speakers especially amps that require bridging. Why not just get a big stereo/multi channel Adcom with more power, it would most likely sound better with less real estate and cord hassles.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

I have a small amount of disposable income each month. I could afford one of these on ebay each month but cannot afford to buy something that costs 4 times one of these at one time. I would have to save for a few months to get something like that. Im a chef and just starting out. I dont make a lot of money. lol.

When you bridge an amp you tend to lose SQ. I would run just one GFA-555 for both. It is more than enough for the RTi10's.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I have found that if I stick to saving the cash for purchases, instead of using credit or buying less than I really want to end up owning, I tend to make better decisions with less buyer's remorse or immediate upgraditis.
There were times early in my adventure that I actually regretted buying gear before I got it into my rig due to this type of forum and online reviews. The 545 will also run them RTI 10's very well.

Dennis you are absolutely right. I been looking at the rti10's for awhile. I almost bought a set of Klipsch speakers a few months back and waited and began looking at polks. I am sooo glad i waited. I have learned so much about different equipment since becoming a member of polks forum. i looked around here for a couple of weeks before joining. Thanks for the advice. I will certainly do my research before committing to any purchase on equipment that goes into my 2.1 system. -chef luis pernia

leroy, would you use two 545's to power a pair of rti10's of just stick to one?
Ben, I will keep that in mind. Im leaning towards the gfa 555. I have always loved that amp. I listened to them power a set of B&W Nautilus tower speakers(dont remember the model number) and that amp was OH SO NICE. I have always wanted one. There are some really good prices on Ebay too. Most likely this is the amp I will Purchase because i know about adcom. I know nothing about Nad or macintosh or monitor or denon. -

Just one will do. When messing around with both amps and my rti speakers I thought it would be a big difference between the 100 watt 545II and the 200 watt 555II but it wasn't. I think the 555 would shine more with harder to run speakers. -
leroy, thanks for the input. Maybe I will get the 545 instead of a 555. I know i like both but if you say there isnt much of a difference, then im all about saving money. LP

Good thing about both amps are if your not happy or your ready to upgrade you can always sell them and get what you paid. -
