What about 11t's for home theater?

Have read over the responses for the 10b's from yesterday. I have a pair of 11t Monitors that I love and am also interested in integrating into a home theater. I've never seen or heard 10b's so I don't know how applicable that advice is to me.

I've also ordered a Sony STRDG920 receiver although I haven't received it yet (it has a phono input which is important).

Any thoughts on Centers and Surrounds to match my speakers and does anyone have any experience with this Sony Receiver?

Thanks!

Couple of things. I'm looking at a 5.1 configuration for a medium sized room (400 sq/ft kitchen and den combined). Wasn't planning on getting a Sub as the 11t's have great Bass but I'm not opposed to it.

Are they Monitor 11s or RTA 11Ts (towers)? Either are great speakers and likely you'll get similar recommendations for surrounds...M5s or M5jrs. You can use either a single for the center or pretty much any beefy Polk center with good results.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Welcome to Club Polk. The 11T's would fall into the same catagory as monitor 10's. They both use the same type of drivers, tweeters, and crossovers.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

They are the Monitor 11t's (lower case) tower speakers with 2 passive sub-woofers.

I think they would be great for HT and for 2 channel listening. I would use a sub with them for HT though.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
