Obviously someone's never been in a real snow storm. F'ing Ford Ranger is the coffin they'll find you in come spring. Once it goes white out you better be in something with a large gas tank, sleeping bags, your emergency bag with a bunch of MRE's, and a satellite locator beacon so they can find your dumb a$$ once the wind goes down and daylight hits.

I'll keep my Nissan Xtrail with my Winter Pirelli Scorpion tires, they worked last year with the 350cm of snow we got.

Yeah, sure. I also remember when you had a different user name...3 user names ago.

Unlike CL, I have no hidden agenda. This thread was for entertainment purposes only and just something to start conversation. Too much doom and gloom, political tension and economic woes for this place to be any interesting lately.

And unlike CL you're not starting a new, pointless thread, or a sequel to it every other day. Or attempting to pry into peoples personal lives. Oh! And let's not forgot to mention some of the other BS he used to post trying to prove his aimless, often hypocritical points of view. Or basically trying to stir the pot in general. Geez! Get real Lorthos.

Now to the question...In a snow storm...What kind of vehicle would 'I' want to be stuck in?

Answer: A bus...Filled with all the Hawaiian Tropic Models. And a big bottle of tanning oil. If that comes as optional equipment of course. :o

I was going to use that as my new wall paper, but I need to get things done. I could sort through that pic for hours!

Hey I'm not greedy....bottom kneeling row...girl second from the left with the flipped up shades would keep me warm enough in my Titan in the snow ;)

Actually , my Titan does fantastic in the snow...and with its massive interior room even I could stretch out in the back if the situation presented itself.

Having done a lot of 4 wheeling in many different types of vehicles I'll tell you what matters most for both 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive vehicles....dumping your open differentials for real limited slip/locking differentials. In all of my vehicles , as well as my friends...that made the biggest difference in off-roadability.

In the sand dunes of Pismo ( Even less traction then snow ) where as 4 wheel drive ( Which really is only 2 wheel drive with open diff's...or NO wheel drive if one of the wheels on an axle loses all traction ) was mandatory if you wanted to do any kind dune climbing....I can now leave it in 2 wheel drive and navigate anywhere at Pismo.....best 950 bucks I ever spent ...and when one becomes avail for my front diff I will install it immediately.

    Me, I'd want a 4x4 mid-90's Ranger.....

How about a 90 bronco II, does even better that the ranger. I had an 89 bronco II, and a 90 ranger both 4 wheel drive. My bronco would go places in 2wd where my ranger would get stuck in 4wd.

That's just cause of weight distribution. The Bronco II's were top heavy and prone to rolling over on trails. The wheel base was short and the passenger cabin had a high center of gravity due to where the rear seats were located in relation to the rear axle. They were alot of fun though!
