So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

I hope you went for the A750 series. If so, you've probably got the best DLP ever made. See AVSforum for some guidance on how to set things for the best picture (ie: closest to ISF standards). Its not hard to get that one looking perfect. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

Yes, sorry I omitted that detail. It's a HL67A750, powered with LEDs rather than one bulb, and this model does not have a spinning color wheel, which I am actually thankful for, as my daughter may have been sensitive to it.
Thanks for guiding me to that forum, by the way, there seems to be a wealth of info on those TVs. I am sure I will spend lots of time reading through it, now that everything is up and running.
Some general background info on this:
I bought the TV from Crutchfield, mainly because they had lowered the normal price by $250, and, were offering a free Bell'O stand (AVS2762, IIRC) with purchase, which I desperately needed, see 2nd pic! Add to that zero tax, zero shipping, done deal. I even picked up two pairs of Polk speakers for my truck from them, though I did not get to install them yet .
One or two warnings here... be prepared to spend some time putting those stands together; not overly difficult, but definitely time consuming. Also, note the picture of my carpeting (where they set the TV box down), and the stain it left behind; make sure that if anything large is delivered into your home, you have them put it on a sheet or something. They felt bad about it, and graciously offered to bring my old Sammy downstairs for me, which was nice of them (threw 'em 20 bucks anyway, just how I am).
The picture on the TV is pretty nice, especially so for HD signals. Nice, sharp image clarity, and excellent corner to corner brightness. Standard def DVDs look great as well. It's not as grand an experience as people might think, made more so by the fact that I demo-ed this pretty extensively beforehand, and it's not that much bigger than the 54" Sammy it replaced. Not that I ain't lovin' it, though !! But really, truthfully, I think that room size, and where you sit, should have more of an impact on what size TV you buy than anything else should.
Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone. So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
