    SDA 2A's w/sl2000 tweeter.

$250-300 if he has the cable. Throw the uninstalled tweeters away or sell them on e-bay.

P.s. If both tweeters don't work then about $50 less. Those "spare" tweeters will not work and tell him so.

I realize the tweeters he has won't work.

So I guess my next question is whats is going to cost me to replace the tweeters.

I think I can get these for about $200.00... Maybe less. I can't afford them right now. But I thought about buying them to repair and resell. I have also never heard a pair of SDA's. So thats another reason for wanting to get them. He also has the interconnect cable....

$200 with blown tweeters is still high IMO.

Replacement tweeters will cost you $48 each shipped.

If your were going to keep them then I'd suggest the RD0 tweeters but you'd never make the money back unless you sold them to someone familiar with the RD0. Then the only alternative is to find used sl2000 which isn't difficult but still a hassle. If you can get them really cheap like $125-150 and find a good pair of sl2000's you'd probably do alright.

I agree with H9, or you could just pick them up for yourself and enjoy SDA goodness. ;)

Are you sure the tweets are shot? It could be the poly switch(s). If that's the case then you're not out any add'l money to replace the tweeters.

I still recommend the RD0's if there's any chance you'll keep them for yourself.

I got a good pair of those last year for $180, so $200 is way to high.

I think $200 is fair due to his location. SDA's in the midwest seems harder to come by versus on the west coast and down south. You guys on the westcoast and down south are all spoiled by those cheap prices. We're not so lucky.

SDA 2A's get em for $150 to $200

tweeters (RD0-194) will run you another $100

they look to be in good condition.

$200 is not way to high. You replace the tweeters anyways. It's a good bargaining chip with the dead tweeters. Tell the dude to keep the spares. They will not work.
    Good cabs?
    Good MW's?
    Local?
$200 is a good deal if you ask me. You guys are trippen from seeing the occasional silly cheap deals we have seen around, but the bottom line is how often do SDA's pop up in your area?
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Sorry bud, but location has nothing to do with going price. The seller, condition and demand set the price. Sometimes you just gotta wait for the right pair to show up. ;)

All of those factors are true, but these do not show up as often in the midwest. I know because I've been looking...and waiting.....

They look to be in much better shape than most of the SDA's I see for sale. I think it's a decent price if you were planning on keeping them. I doubt you would make anything after repairs if buying them for resale.

From what I read here on CP, who would buy SDAs for resale anyway?!

They do look like great condition, and would be worth it if you are going to keep them, even if you have to replace the tweeters.

Somebody local should go check these out. According to our Club Polk Map there are a bunch of you guys real close to them.

    There in Camden Wyoming, DE

I spoke to the guy through emails and he seems very nice. He said he would come down on the price because of the tweeters. He wants $295.00 for the pair. But I think if somebody went over and looked at them and haggled a bit. I think you could get them for $175.00 easy.

He has them posted on A-gon. But he has them posted as Polk SDA's and not Polk Audio SDA's. SO if you look up Polk Audio on A-gon they will not show up. I thought I found something that nobody else was seeing..... I only wanted them if I could get $400.00-$600.00 out of them. But there obviously not worth the price of shipping.

So somebody local go get them...

    Heres the link.

You guys are all wrong!! BIG TIME
The cost of ownership is $200.
    HHHMMMMMMMM another $100 for tweeters
Another lets say $100 for caps and resistors
So for $400.00 you have a set of speakers that are world beaters, wow a no brainer to me!

SDA 2B PB with the TL upgrade are the small SDA's to get. In fact, I like them more than the SRS 2's that I'm babysitting. :D

I agree with the 2BTLs being great, but that is a different beast than the 2A. BTW, for the size, my RDO 4.1TLs can't be beat! :D
