This morning I came home from work (I live right next door), and there were two bald eagles circling not more than 50 feet above my driveway. I was impressed, as I've never really seen one in the wild before, and they're pretty awesome-looking birds.

I ran in to grab my camera, but I had a wide-angle lens on it. By the time I swapped lenses and got back outside, they were WAY up high and I couldn't get a good picture.

Just thought I'd share that.

I see one every once in a while here, but not so much now since I live in town.

We have two on the local lake here, they are hatchlings that were raised in captivityand then released there and I have been told that they have had little ones. I have seen one of them pearched on a tree down close to the lake shore......what a sight.
