was what I heard from our Regional Bio-medical engineer. Dave McDougal is his name and when I saw him today he said that he had something to give me.He collects vintage guitars and amps and has a nice collection of Fenders,Gibsons,and many amps to boot. He knows that I'm into audio,and when I see him,I try to pick his brain regarding tubes. In addition to the tester and manual, he handed me a BOX full of EL -34,, 6L6's 12 AT and Ax 7 tubes,, some of which are good,, it's my job to learn and determine the good ones from the bad. Just thought that I'd post this before I get my tube learn on,, some of the 6l6's have side getters,, brands such as GE,RCA,Sylvania,, and some Chineese and Russian brands as well.Hey,, this is kinda fun.:)
