The Output is much more dominate in the left speaker. All the drivers in the right speaker are working fine. What could it be that is causing this problem.

Thanks

Are you using the AI-1 cable? You need that if you're using monoblocks. (or connect the negative posts of the monoblocks if it's ok to do so).

If you're not doing either, shut it down NOW before you damage something....

Ok. First thing I would do is swap speaker cables to check if the problem is coming from your system or it is the speaker.
If it is actually the speaker, I'd go through the troubleshooting sheet, including resistance measuring, that is attached here: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showpost.php?p=43278&postcount=6
Maybe that will show you something; I am assuming you do have the interconnect cable and have the jumpers in the binding posts, or are bi-wiring.

Exactly how are the speakers set up, measurements from the left and right side walls, the back wall, etc.? Had your ears cleaned for excessive wax lately? Yeah, I'm serious.

I have been battling this same problem ever since I got my SDA 2B's last year.. and while i've changed out nearly everything in my two ch system.. I even used a burned CD with 100% tone, and used a SPL meter to set the readings. Both speakers measured the same output.

my conclusion was that my right speaker had less volume because it was closer to a side wall than my left speaker. It's very noticable, but I am limited on space. So I think it's due to room placement and room acoustics.

good luck.. i know it can be a **** to try and enjoy music when one ch is louder than the other.
