I'm in the process of redoing the sound system in my 13'x18' living room/home theater. I've decided on the CSiA4 as the center with the voice-matched RTiA1's as the left and right speakers. Unfortunately, the rear of the room has a fireplace and two windows and just does not have enough room for any of the voice matched RTi series surround speaker. Speakers that I could hang on the wall would be the best fit for the room. So, with that said and knowing that the following speakers aren't voice matched to the RTi series, would Monitor 30's, RM-8's or the RM-101 or 201's provide me with a decent surround sound? Among other things, I know that voice-matching is important for the center and front speakers, but don't know how important or critical it is for the rear ones.

It's not absolutely essential, but I was under the impression that you COULD wall mount the RTi A1s. Someone with more knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Many thanks for the thought. I have only been thinking of speakers that are formally listed as being used for surrounds, but I see that you use the RTiA1's as your rear surrounds, the size isn't bad at all and they certainly can be wall mounted. And......., they sure would be matched! Again, many thanks.

I use RC80i ceiling mounted speakers for my surrounds for what its worth. Sound great. RTi A5 up front and CSi A4 in the center.
    My setup:

    Center: CSi A4
    Surrounds x 4: RC 80i
    Sub: PSW505
    Presence: RC65i

Front Projector: Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080UB
