RTA 15TL's with marble tops?

I'm stuck in an airport and i'm a bit cranky and loopy from the flight delay.. but WTH are these?

custom marble tops

*if the belong to someone in here.. sorry. i had to point out the oddness of the custom marble tops.

    I was just checking out those on ebay also. As much as I like marble, they don't look good. And the custom woodwork on the sides may be well done, but looks like something out of the middle ages... And when I'm going to buy a pair of speakers like that from you, I'm not going to calculate in the "$200 worth of SS hardware" into the final sale price. Great speakers, but not a good modification; just my .02.

    They might be easy to redo, but for not for that price, no thank you. Since they are in my area, I'll be interested if they show up on CL or anywhere else in they don't sell today.

    And what are the D-rings for? Do they use a hoist to move them around? Ugh!

    I'm glad I just chose black Formica to replace the original tops on mine....
