I am looking at a very early pair of monitor 7's. They have peerless tweeters and 8" passive radiators instead of the 10" passive radiators. I am wondering if anyone here has heard both and would be will to give there opinions of the 8" versus 10" models.
Thanks,
Chris.

The 8" are cooler from a Polkie nostalgia perspective but I don't think I'd prefer one over the other in regards to performance.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have heard both. Like Doro said the nostalgia factor is high on the 8"passive model.

Sound wise the 8" passive doesn't have quite the same bottom end as the 10". It isn't a huge difference but I could here it. Although I like the peerless versions the most. So it depends on what you like. Clean highs or more bottom end?
