Word to the wise....1.2TL's on eBay

These are the same speakers, offered by the same seller that sold them on eBay to forum member, Deep Bass. The seller, getting only his opening price of $1500.00, backed out of the deal after the auction closed, making up some story that they were not listed correctly, that he didn't get enough views and some other BS about shipping.

The word to the wise......he may do the same thing to you, so think long and hard about bidding on them.

If I remember correctly he (seller) claimed EBay only listed them in Canada and not in the US so he "lost out" on all those potential bidders, or something like that. I noticed he has now started this bid at $1,800 instead of $1,500.

I'd love to see that auction close with no bids.

Deepbass, please leave the seller negative feedback so that other potential buyers can be warned. Greedy jerks like this need to be off ebay, or at least properly flagged.

I see your warning, but if any of you get serious about this, my daughter currently lives in Toronto. They've just sold their house and they are moving back to NC (Raleigh - Rocky Mount area) within the next 60 days.

I could quickly look into a move assist if someone wants to take the risk with this seller. Cannot guarantee the move assist, but I can check. Just let me know (PM me and we can do an email or phone conversation).
