Had these made for me in March of 07 Scanspeak revelator speaker. Room is just to small for these.I'm going to replace them with monitors. I'll give them a 9. I have the boxes, but would prefer not to ship, but if you twist my arm,I might.Signed and dated by Ty.I have the grills, walnut finish. They sound great with Jazz,Blues,Rock,,,and NO you don't need a sub. Thanks for looking.

Which Scan Speak tweeter is that? The woofers are definitely Seas Excel.

I thought he was stating the speakers used all Revelator series drivers, which they don't. After looking, they do look like Revelator tweeters.

I'm sure these are great speakers at a great price - but George please remember that there is a certain bias on this site for another brand of speakers. Good luck on your sale, Phil

I haven't heard a DT speaker that floored me and the Taylo's sound much better in a 2CH rig. All those other nouns need to be experienced by you, not me. I'm just offering an opinion. The design of each loudspeaker has a different objective and I believe its pretty obvious upon listening to them.

Sure, it's just that I prefer that laid-back, easy to listen to sound of the Definitives. In fact, listening to the BP10B all day is comfortable, even at higher volumes. Will Taylo's be similar in that regard, or are they more detailed?

If the DT sounds laid back to you, these would fit the bill. I didn't find them forward in presentation.

So basically similar to the DT in forwardness? What's the most significant difference then?

We all don't just own Polk speakers in here, Phil. There are many variations of what other lines people like in here besides Polk. I personally do own SDA SRS II's but I also own Klipsch Heresy's, Klipschorns, Large Advents, Small Advents, ADS L810's and a few others.

If I didn't already have a pair, these would have been gone the first day that they were listed for sale. Daily runner here and a wonderful speaker. The pinpoint imaging is superb.

    So, how tall are they?

I've been looking for a pair of used Dynaudio 220's or Totem Forests, but they just aint to be found right now. & I've been w/o speakers for a few months now (cue "aaaawwwwwwwwwww, you poor baby" comments).

    How do these compare?

To this day, these are the best speakers Ive ever heard for the money.

The tweeter is amazing, midrange and bass response is great...

As Tom mentioned, the pinpoint imaging is always nice.

I have this same exact speaker and finish... beautiful finish!

These are a notch above the LSi and several above the RTi (IMO)

Great price off the 3,800 new price.

Wouldn't that be weird if we both ended up with the same setup - Taylo 7U's, Odyssey mono's, etc.? ;)
