    Everything is relative. He has every right to be upset at Pizza Hut in general and whomever took his order. I am sure he wasn't as bent as everyone here wants to make him out to be despite the swearing. Maybe that was over the line (if it even happened). Yep, there are way worse things to be worried about. That doesn't mean Pizza Hut should tell someone a time and then be as late as the were. It's still wrong.

    Customer service is a joke these days, and if this thread is any indication, we know why.

    You get what you pay for...and most people want price over CS. The only way you are going to get the prices people "demand" is to pay employees minimum wage. As much as PH would like to tell you the person that will accept $5/hr is going to give you great service...the reality is is isn't going to happen. While price and CS are not mutually exclusive it is very hard to get good quality, cheap price and customer service.

    This is why eating at any national chain resturaunt is always my last resort. I just don't agree with most of their management practices and policies. Patronizing the locals doesn't solve all the issues mentioned in this thread, but it does make me feel better ;)

    Check again. Pizza Hut does charge a service charge for delivery- usually a couple of bucks. Of course there is usually a tip expected in addition to the SC.

    It's not a big deal, I'm just trying to add some perspective....that in the grand scheme, it's not that big of a deal.

    I understand that nothing is 'free'...I'm just saying that in relative terms that compared to what you are paying......

    Didn't know about PH charging delivery, been awhile since I've had a pie delivered. I just go pick them up at home.
