Moving LP's

Now that I have to move I've come to the conclusion that it is better to buy 3000 records after you move, not before.
However, if you need to move your LP's its hard to find a better box to put them in than these:

They are very strong and just the right size inside to put the collection.

Price looks good. How many LP's per carton did you get?Michael
In the beginning, all knowledge was new!

About 70 to 80 albums per box. I filled them leaving enough room to avoid being tight. My main concern about boxing them up was that the sides would bend enough to cause warpage like most every box I've seen LP's in. These, being exactly the correct size seem very strong around the edges and don't look like they will do that. Good weight too, easy to move.

They used to make 1"+ thick styrofoam coolers that were great for moving albums. Not only did the fit tight enough to keep them from sliding around, they insulated them from the heat.
