SDA 2's, but what model?

Looking for some help here....

I picked these up off of Minneapolis Craigs List for $175 and was absolutely thrilled. I have another pair of SDA2's that look similiar, but they are the blade/blade model. This pair sounds awesome as is and they seem to be much nicer, but they are the pin/blade model with grill material on the front, left and right sides. I hooked them up and they sound great, but I know they are not performing at their highest level without the interconnect. So I have a few questions:

1. Which model SDA's are these? I'm guessing 2B, but that's just a guess.

2. I know they use a pin/blade interconnect, but does Polk still sell these? If so, can someone hook me up with a part #?

Thanks a bunch,

Hap

P.S. - I've never posted pictures before, so if these links don't work, some helpful advice would be appreciaed. - Thanks!

Yup, they are SDA 2Bs. I don't think they make the interconnect anyone, but I just made one out a modified spade and a round "pin" on speaker wire. The other option is since only the pin carries a signal, a good number of people have modded the plug into a single binding post and just used a single banana plug on wire.

as already mentioned.. they are SDA 2B's look just like mine, but mine are blade/blade. i don't know which one is newer.. the blade/blade or the pin/blade models. the 2B's I understand were made in two batches, 1986/87 and 1989 IIRC

If you have a common ground amp, just shove a piece of bare speaker wire into both of the pin plugs.
