Peerless and SDA2a's?

What would happen if I put my spare Peerless tweeters in my 2a's? The x-overs have been upgraded using exact values (Solens and Mills) on all caps and resistors.
I don't want to get into a tweeter debate just wondering if it could be a bad thing for some reason. I screwed up enough today.

IMO, it wouldn't be that difficult.

What tweeters do your SDA's have, SL2000's?

Compare the HF circuit of say a SL2000 Monitor 7 and a Peerless Monitor 7, and you'll know what changes need to be made to your SDA crossover.

Will it work? It should. Will it sound good, who knows?

I have RDO-194's in them and the other things sitting around. I am kinda curious if I can run the Peerless with out changes to the x-over. I like the Peerless tweeters. I know they are not a perfect fit but I can handle that.

I don't believe the crossovers are the same. The capacitors may be the same, but I believe the resistor(s) is different.

Well I went ahead and tried the Peerless tweeters in my SDA2a's and I must say they sound great. I am surprised just how clear and detailed they are, maybe I should not be surprised because I like them in the Monitor 10's. I will listen to them for a few days before hooking my SRSII's back up but am impressed so far.

To whom this concerns: I am not interested in a tweeter debate here or anything you have to say. Get it!! Yeah I got your private message and will ignore it and you and please do not send ma another private message.
