I have some Monitor 7's I could upgrade the crossover and the tweeter and use one or get an LSI Center - any opinions????

I added the picture of the model 7 crossover - probably should upgrade it just for fun... any suggestions are appreciated.

I am using 2 lsic's with the 1.2's (not tl's, not upgraded). I can run the two speakers at the same volume as the mains and they are not being pushed. I use two because I just put together a HT with a 106" screen and I wanted to make sure that the centers were providing a little broader soundstage. I can honestly say that with just one it seemed as though the sound was a little too focal pointed, the broader soundstage idea with two seems to work. It's probably just me justifying. I did use a klipsch center before and the lsic are clearly a better match to the 1.2's.......

I haven't calibrated the sysem yet that will be done by the end of this week and if I notice any significant changes I'll get back to you.

I'm trying NO center channel for a few weeks. So far, I don't miss it.
