Yeah I love big old speakers like that. The look is timeless. I've been trying to find a pair of any old polk floorstander speaker close enough to me for a reasonable price.

    Is that the original PR?

This is tempting. I live within 25 miles of the location. I have a pair of RTA-11t's. I've been hoping to come across a pair of RTA-15tl's. Anybody out there who can give me a comparison in the sound as I have never heard the monitor 12's before.

I can't compare them to the RTAs. I do like mine more than my Monitor 10bs. While I find them to be a bit boomy they sound better when pulled out from corners. I think they definately sound better with SS than with tubes. I use mine in my HT with the 10s as rears. $200-250 seems to be a far price if in excellent condition. I've seen them go much higher however.
