The show "24" has been delayed indefinitely due to the strike. It was supposed to have begun last night, but nooooo!!!!!.
Hell, some of us can write the script. How difficult can it be? Just get a couple of researchers, a couple of guys with great ideas, and a couple of 4-eyed geeks to write it all down and we got ourselves a script -- no problemo.
The first episode -- Jack goes undercover and takes out the greedy gangsters behind the writer's guild.

I'm pissed about this myself. I couldn't give a rat's **** about the rest of television, but no 24 is really a bummer...

Have no fear, Jack Bauer will find the writers guild.

.....and slay them. Oh well, it gives me time to work on my system and listen to some good tunes.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Isn't (the real) Jack serving some slammer time for drunk driving?

I'm very anti-union, but calling the writers in this case "greedy gangsters" is pure ignorance. Getting paid for your work is a pretty basic right. Studios agreed to pay the writers for their work, and are now trying to not pay them when showing the same work over the internet instead of the airwaves. Seems like a legit beef to me, no?If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

I too am as anti-union as a guy can be but everyone deserves to be paid for their work I don't care what medium used.
