NAD C372 Integrated Amplifier - 9/10 - Grey - *SOLD* to Bill Ayotte
This is a beast of an integrated and completely overkill for my computer rig. It's the largest integrated NAD makes, aside from the uber expensive Master Series and you'll know it when you see it. It's a wonderful piece of gear.
I'm the original owner and the unit has low hours. All connections have been cleaned with CAIG products and it's packed to withstand an atomic blast.
2 x 150W Minimum Continuous Power into 4/8 ohms
220W, 340W, 460W IHF Dynamic Power into 8, 4 and 2 ohms, respectively
PowerDrive™
High Current Holmgren™ Toroidal Power Transformer
Bridgeable to 400W Mono (8 ohms)
A/B Speaker outputs with remote switching
7 Line Inputs, including Two Tape In/Outs
Main-amp input & 2 pre-amp outputs
Bass and Treble Controls with Tone Defeat Switch
Relay Input Switching
All Discrete Circuitry
Gold plated RCA Connectors
Short signal path from input to output
NAD Soft Clipping™
Headphone socket
IEC Detachable Power Cable
12V Trigger Output
IR Input/Output
NAD SR-5 Full System Remote Control
Ventilation Notice from NAD
In other words, don't set other gear on top of it....period. It's biased pretty high and generates a good amount of heat.
Includes: Original box, packaging, remote control, power cord and user manual.
Musical Fidelity X-Can v3.0 Headphone Amplifier - 7/10 - Silver/Black - *SOLD* to Polkmaniac
I've owned a few of the X series components over the years, starting with a v1.0 soda can style amplifier way back in the day. It's a perfect headphone amp that has no issues driving Sennheiser, AKG or Grado headphones. It's got a nice warm sound due to the tube based design which is patterned on the Tri-Vista circuit.
It has some scratches on top and a very small ding in the faceplate. It's superficial stuff but enough to rate it 7/10 on Audiogon. I've touched up the chassis scratches and I honestly don't think you will even mind.
If you buy both the amp and AKG headphones....I'll make you a deal.
Includes: Original box, wall wart and user manual.
AKG Reference K701 Headphones - 9/10 - White/Grey - *SOLD* to DAGLJAM
I've owned these for 2 months but need the longer custom cable I have on my Sennheisers. The stock cable is 3m(10ft) long. These do sound better than my Sennheiser and you can get the cable modified from some sources online. They are extremely confortable, hi-res audio ready and can accomodate large heads due to the frame design. Grado and Sennheiser can be snug on some folks.
It's a Top Of The Line(TOTL) AKG headphone with solid construction, unbreakable frame, gold plated connections, replaceable ear cushions and a leather headband. You don't get much better than these IMO.
Revolutionary flat-wire voice coil technology
Patented AKG Varimotion ultra-precision two-layer diaphragm
Self-adjusting cushioned genuine-leather headband
Bi-wiring, high-performance cable with 1/4" jack plug
Comfortable, specially shaped "3D-Form" ear pads
Complete with stylish storage cradle
Individually tested and numbered

Includes: Original box, warranty paperwork and headphone stand.
Cambridge Audio A640C v2.0 CDP - 9/10 - Black - *SOLD* to Bill Ayotte
2006 Award Winning CDP with a bunch of happy Club Polk owners or previous owners. I had it on my computer rig but have only used it 2-3 times since everything I run is actually ON the computer....it was an impulse purchase. Definitive Technology BP-7006 Loudspeakers - 9/10 - Black - *SOLD*
I'm selling these for a friend and they are in stellar condition. I can't find any flaws or problems. As far as bi-polar loudspeakers go, it's a tremendous HT speaker and the smaller ones seem to image better than the larger models for 2CH. He upgraded simply because he could, so out the door these go. I have all the original packaging for shipping but would prefer a local sale.
Frequency Response: 17 Hz — 30 kHz
Nominal Impedance Compatible with 8 ohms
Rec. Assoc. 20 — 250 Watts
Driver Complement: Two 4-1/2" high definition cast-magnesium basket polymer upper bass/midrange drivers. Two 1" pure aluminum dome tweeters with silk surrounds. One 8" long-throw subwoofer coupled to two 8" infrasonic radiators.

Hmmmm...I have a couple goodies
A gut shot of the NAD was added prior to packaging and if anyone is interested, a Cambridge Audio A640 Integrated Amplifier(v2.0) is in the wings. Dave - I'm remote at the moment but check out www.cambridgeaudio.com for the particulars about the integrated. It's the v2.0 which has some nice upgrades from the previous model.
Darla - Thanks My objective is too create as much audio turmoil in Polkies lives as possible.
Chicomoralessxm - Nothing extraordinary but I am upgrading my HT to LSi and would have some RTi38, original owner and packaging, that I'd get out the door for a nice price. Well i'm looking for something with a little more oomph than those ushers. Was seriously looking at the lsi9, dyna 52's, 140's or the studio 40. But recently my budget took a major hit so i'm on the look out on the used market, demo or closeouts now.Chicomorales:) -

Fair enough, that makes sense. I would suggest LSi7 instead of the LSi9.
