Ahh, ok, I think you should add: "The company also produces a wide range of other audio products such as amplifiers and FM tuners for cars."

Or something along those lines. Since I don't have a car I had no clue that they did so.

Good for you (saving the planet, and spending your money on audio instead: a lot better than paying to get stuck in traffic)! Unfortunately, transportation is so non-existent in L.A. that if you don't live near a metro line, you have no option but to have a car or stop existing in any modern sense of the term.

I also didn't know Polk Audio made auto stuff until I joined Club Polk.
    Alea jacta est!

Wikipedia is community edited. Anyone on this site could spend an hour and rewrite it.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Pretty low on the priority list, between the main site, FB, and press, Polk is pretty well covered. Who needs Wiki.

    Cheers,

    Good Point Russman,

I always tell my students to double check anything they find on Wiki against primary sources. And in this case. The primary source would be Polk itself!

Most colleges and universities won't let you use Wiki as a source, period.

That's right. That cannot be a FINAL reference but I allow my students to use it in searches as long as they are aware that I'll be at there at the end of their paper and I'll be looking for primary sources and reliable information. Since I know what that is, it's not a problem and it gets some students started, after which I can get them into the LIBRARY among other scholarly venues and sources!
