FXI A4's for 250?? and my final setup
Just thought I'd share this as it seemed to be a good deal. Amazon has the FXI A4's for 250 with free super saver shipping. I placed my order for 2 sets last week and they shipped today.

My setup as of this weekend will be:
Yamaha HTR-6090 AVR
R50's front (soon to be rti 8's probably)
CSi 3 Center
FXI A4 surround and rear
PSW 505 sub
on a 52" LG DLP
I think I'll be pretty happy with my first HT that I actually paid money for (last one was a 5.1 with all hand me down free stuff (ie 10 dollar speakers lol)).

When did you order the FXi's? I ordered mine from Amazon on Friday and they are on backorder with an estimated ship date of 1/29-2/6. Try Frys for a great price on the RTi8's. Got mine yesterday after ordering on Friday and loving them - upgraded from R30's.

You ordered the FXi A4's from Amazon for $250 and they shipped? Website still says they are out of stock. I ordered them in black, but the site also has white listed as out of stock.
And I normally see them for $400, so yep I think $250 is a good deal. -
Yes I ordered the Fxi4's from amazon like 3 days ago and they shipped yesterday I already got tracking.
About the Free Sub I believe that offer fry's has it but in their retail stores, I tried right now adding some stuff to the cart and the sub but it didn't apply.
the only thing I bought from frys were my two rti8's and they sent one in the wrong color (black) and their return procedure is the worst thing ever. even if it's their error you have to send it back yourself wait until they do a return, until the money comes back to the credit card and then order again the item that you were supposed to get right the first time. Tried my best but no way around it. at the end I just ordered a new rti8 while the other one gets returned but mann, first time that buying online has been such a pain.
I am doing 5.1 and originally according to my budget was going for rti4's for rears at $150 @fry's but I saw them in person and they were kind of big to be wall mounted near my couch for surrounds, the fxi's are a perfect fit, really much more than I was expecting to spend for "surrounds" but I'm hoping it's worth it.
can anyone chime in on these speakers? -

The $199 Polk Sub credit offer is valid at Amazon. You won't see the discount in the cart, but you will see it at the payment screen. You might want to call Amazon and ask if you can use the credit.My Setup

Ok thanks, I didn't know that, BUT I believe the offer is for 400 0r 500 spent on polk audio stuff.
I bought two rti8's from frys, a csi3 center from vanns and the fxi4's for $250 in amazon, hopefully i'm right and the 250 i'm paying is for a pair of fxi4's and not one.if its only one and for two the total would be $500 then I won't really care about a free sub, I would just return the whole thing..
also, by buying from fry's, vanns and amazon I saved around the amount of the free polk sub so I just took that money saved and spent towards a much bettr sub from what I hear, the bic acoustics h100.
Sound like a good deal?

I thought they may be mislabeled or something. I looked them over good and they appear to be brand new FXI A4's. Could be Amazon has them mispriced because they are $399 everywhere else. I also picked up a RTI A7's, $700 for the set including tax and shipping (I picked them up and paid cash). I thought that was a sweet deal.

I found them through e-bay. I got them at http://www.auctionitnj.com/
They were undamaged, brand new in the box. I wasn't looking for those speakers because I knew they were more then I wanted to spend. I was going to go with the RTi8's which I think were $499 plus $150 shipping from most places. I saw the 7's and asked the guy if he had the 8's, which he didn't. I offered him $700 and he took it. I don't think he realized what he had. After I got them I told him the best I could find these were $1,000 plus shipping, he listed the other set he had at a starting bid of $750.00. I just looked and I don't think he has anymore put you can keep checking as he gets stuff in all the time, so he says.
