Just saw the ad today, and Fry's dropping the price on RTI 10 further to $199.99 per speaker. Very good deal.

I saw this as well in the Dallas ad. It's hit or miss whether the Austin store has the same deals, but if so, I'll have a new pair of 10's this morning. I had been leaning towards the 8's from the online store but I can't pass this up.

If only they had a CSi5 in-store as well...

Last week, there were plenty of RTI10 in store at Austin, but the price were at 250 a piece, and Austin's store has a very bad inventory system. They said they have 5 RTI8 in the system, and there were none in store.

So, Austin store doesn't have CSI5? Thanks, then i won't bother to go there this afternoon. Austin should have the same price on the RTI10 as dallas.

Last I saw on Wednesday, there was a black and cherry CSi3 for $199 but no CSi5's in sight. They did have the newer model centers though, no markdowns obviously. If I see any this morning I'll let you know.

I almost bought the 10's for $249 earlier this week but waffled because I couldn't decide how much I wanted cherry. Looks like black it is. I'm sure I can find a way to get my total over $499 for that free sub as well.

Lots of black RTi10's (really heavy) left for $199. I grabbed two and since I couldn't find a CSi5, bought a pair of cherry RTi4's for $149. They then threw in the Polk 10" sub for free since I spent over $499. I already have a BIC H-100 so this will either be sold or put in another room.

Not sure whether I'll keep the RTi4's or use them for rear surrounds. I still have a CSi25 as my center that I want to replace. I'm also tempted to exchange them for a CSi3, but I have my heart set on the big one.

All in all, extremely happy with upgrading the R50 fronts.

If anyone picks up a black pair of RTi10's and doesn't want them, I'm looking at upgrading from my 8's to 10's down the road this year after I get a 5 channel amp... keep me in mind!!!

Thanks for the update. Since I bought RTi8's outline, it's a hassle to return them. I will keep the 8s' for now although i'm very tempted to get the 10s. I am looking for a new center channel to go along with the RTi's. Is the CSi25 any good, or should I get the CSi3? I can't find any deal on the CSi5s anymore. Thanks.

    No problem.

I've been happy with the CSi25 but it matches with the R series and I've been running it with R50's and R300's. The best thing about it was when I bought it, it was $60.

I've seen the CSi3 for $150-160 shipped online a few places and I would think the difference is worth it over the CSi25. I still can't find the CSi5 for cheaper than $300. There's a bunch of threads on CSi5 vs. CSi3 and while I've read them all, I still can't decide whether the CSi5 is worth twice the price.

I figure I'll probably wait and upgrade to the CSi5 when I can so there's no upgrade path and hence I cannot spend any more money. At least on speakers.

Now I am made at Fry's.

I picked up a pair of RTi8's in november when they had them for $199ea. 32 day's later Fry's has them for $149ea I went back and asked for price match and was told by the clerk, a$$ manager and manager 30 day's is 30 day's so I did not get the price match. Now the RTi10's for $199ea. don't get me wrong I am very happy with my set of 8's but 10's for the same price, I need some cheese to go with my wine..... The one thing I am going to do is I took their extended warranty plan so in a couple of years I am going to blow them and get a new set of A5's

ebay still has some CSI5's for about $200
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Picked these up today. They really sound sweet! I have about 200.00 left on my budget. Should I replace my center with a CSi 3 for about 150.00, or should I buy the RTi 4 for my surrounds for 200.00?

picked up the RTi 10s today at frys for 199each..had to get them in black, cherry is original price. So I ordered a black csi5 online and I am sending back the cherry csi5 that came broken from crutchfield. So now I have cherry surround rti6s not the worse color mismatch right? Hey I tried to get all cherry but the center came broken and the sale was only on black 10s.... so I got the black oak up front and cherry's in the back...

Yes, local store only for the black RTi10's. They are $249 plus taxes and shipping online.

    Still a great deal online.

the shipping is a killer though , another hundred plus... if you can get local go that way. Woodland hills had 10 speakers in stock. oxnard had a dozen. both locations in california. 430 bucks total, with tax out the door...not a bad deal for the 10s

Just FYI if you put in two separate orders for the speakers on frys.com, shipping is drastically reduced. I think it's about $20 per speaker instead of $100+ for a single order.

I picked up a CSi3 off craigslist for $80, couldn't pass up that price.
