Sentimental value? Price to performance? $teal ratio? Historic piece?

I would never sell:

The Carver Amazing Platinums - Because they're too amazing.
AR-9 - Historic/$teal/PtP
The AR Receiver - Historic/Sentimental
The AR Integrated Amp - Historic/Sentimental
KLH Model 6 - Sentimental/$teal/Historic/PtP
KLH Model 18 Tuner - Historic/PtP
NAD 7130 Rcvr - Sentimental (in Tiff's bedroom with my old Model 6's)
Roy Allison Labs Mini-Reference - (Too tough to find another pair)
Advent 201 Cassette Deck - Sentimental/Historic
Tandberg TCD-310 Cassette Deck - Love it too much
Apt "Holman" Pre - $teal/Historic/PtP
AR-302 - Historic/$teal/PtP
Onkyo M-5090 - I love this power amp. Tough to find another.
Original Dynaco "Quadaptor" - Historic/PtP

That's it for now I think. I might have a pair of AR-5 on the way, and if I do, they ain't leaving once they get here.

Belles 350a reference. Best amp under $10,000 (IMO, of course). I don't think anyone else in the forum has given it a try. You should.

RTi8's and CSI5 for the HT. Perfect for my needs.

    I don't have a closet like George....

Edit: Beardog's closet is also nice.....

All my gear in my signature has a sentimental value to me because it is all basically my first dip into audio/video stuff. I've spent my hard earned money while in while since I was 18(now 22) to build the collection I have in my signature, including the LCD tv. None of it was gifts either, so it all has a special value to me, and therefore I just don't see myself selling it. When I move into my own house I plan on having a dedicated A/V room and that's where it's all going.

If I had to make a small list of hardest stuff to part with:

Samsung 40" LCD 1080p(took me 5 months to pay it off)
    Adcom GFA-545II($teal)
    Adcom GFA-535II($teal)
    Outlaw M200
Jolida 502B w/ subwoofer preout($teal and nightmare getting it shipped here)

My Carver M-1.0t amp and DTL-200 CD player because Bob worked on both of them and they are signed. Actually, the amp has my name on the front of it too so that would be a hard one to pawn off! (well, maybe not...but)

And, my SRS II's that I have personally gone thru the fun of refinishing the tops and bottoms, crossovers, etc. There may be other things but I can't come up with them off the top.

    The only things that I can really, really say that I would have a real hard time parting with would be;

Spectral DMC 10G preamp -Sentimental value/Historic piece plus the friggin thing still outperforms many, many high end preamps to this day.

SME Series V Tonearm -Sentimental value/Historic piece

    Maybe, just maybe the,

Polk Audio SDA/SRS 1.2 TLs -Sentimental value/Historic piece, reminds me of my first SDA/SRS I purchased in the mid 80s.

The Tri Vista 300 hybrid/integrated I just acquired is not leaving anytime soon either.

    Sell you one.

Thanks for the offer. I'll just grab one from my sister if/when the time comes. Realisticly I'm hoping medical technolgy will figure out a mechanical one that works better that the current dialysis available now. Best case scenario...I die of old age with the one I have working perfectly. We'll see.
