What Would Be The Best Amp To Use To Power These Monsters. I Purchased A Nad T973 And I Am Not Very Happy With It--- I Need More Power. It's Only 7 X 140wpc. My Current Receiver(yammy) Has The Same. I Don't Really Want To Go Outlaw. But I Don't Really Want To Drop 8000 On A Krell. I Really Don't Know If The Amp Just Pumps To Signal It Is Sent. Or Does It Change It??? If Some One Wants My Nad It's On Audiogone For 1199 Obo.(want It Gone)

The NAD should be fine. Look into other parts of your system if you are not happy.

Assuming you're using your Yammy with the amp, maybe try a real pre/pro.

Lots of opinions on that topic. Carver, Adcom, Outlaw are fine amps. Depends on how much you want to spend. Outlaw has good amps. General consensuses is 200 to 250 @ 8 ohms wpc should about do it. The amps I mentioned have a good cost per watt value. These amps also support 4 ohm loads.

    Good Luck,

How big is your room? What exactly is your complaint in regards to the sound?

IHF dynamic power on that amp is 390wpc @ 4ohms, and it's 2ohm stable. I don't think power is the issue, maybe you just don't like NAD's sound. Or maybe it's that receiver you're using as a pre.

engtaz made good suggestions. Others to check out are Rotel, Parasound, Sunfire, B&K. Searching for something like "lsi amp" will get you tons of results.
