monitor 40's vs rti6's

I'm sure this question has been asked before. I'm currently using monitor 40's as my mains, and a friend of mine has a pair or rti6's new in box, and is selling them for 200.00 how much of an upgrade would the 6's be over my current 40's? I would mainly use them for movies and video games and a little music.

    I've never heard the Monitor line but I have the 6's and they are an excellent speaker. The fun is that your setup now is matched so if you want the 6's you'll probably want to change out your other speaks.
    Have your bud bring them over and take 'em for a spin. Your ears are the judge. Not a bad price for new as far as I can tell. It may not hurt to call the stores and see what they are selling at.
