Would be $120ish in gas in my car to go down and get them. I'm still dealing with the guy a bit, though and might not need to worry about it.

After doing a small search. IMO it is a tad high, but not too bad. Good Luck

If they are in good shape, and you're confident the seller can pack and ship successfully, it's not a bad price.

I'm a bit concerned about the shipping. How have others shipped them successfully? Looks like they are just packed in the original boxes.

If they have original boxes that's a plus. The past few tranactions I've done I have gone to the UPS website and if you have the true weight and box dimensions their shipping calculator is pretty accurate within a few dollars. It isn't going to be cheap.

I would tell the seller you'll pay the extra to have the UPS store double-box them. Otherwise, they do survive shipping to the stores in the original packing.

Probably talking a couple extra Franklins if you go this route.

If the seller has the original boxes and packing, and all the UPS store has to do is build an outside box, might not be that bad. I had them build an outer box for a shipment that was much smaller, and they only charged me about $12.

    Just buy them!

I have gone to "flat top Larry" here in town who runs the Postal Shoppe in several locations and he is top notch not only in CS but packing as well, and it wasn't cheap.

I sent a pair of sl2000's in their own packing and had him dbl box them, it cost me like $18 to ship those to NYC. By the same token I sent a single 5B I packed my self and dropped off at Office Depot for about $24. The 5B was huge compared to the sl2000's. That's been my limited experience.

H9 - here's how this deal is going down! He will buy the LSi15's then realize how good they are for HT. On the FM goes the RTi70's, CSi30, and the RTi28's. He'll be looking for a deal on the LSiC and LSi7's. Then he'll still need a 2 channel rig, and that's where the SDA-2A's come in :D

Are you sure you don't want to sell off the RTi70s and peripherals, and just just get an LSiC and LSiFX's?? I had an RTi system, 70s, 40, 28s, and FXi30s. I loved that system. Then I got the LSi15s, LSiC, and four LC65i inwalls, and man.... that stuff is the money!

I can understand wanting a dedicated two channel rig though. I get that hankerin sometimes too.

I listened to an $18k pair of B&W signature diamonds (one of only three sets on display in the US), with $33k Trasparent Audio Opus MM Cables, and two 500 watt Classe Mono Amps running them.... That my friend, was two channel audio NIRVANA! But, I guess for $60-$70 GRAND, it should be!

Enjoy your LSis, and post pictures when you get them.
