Are you talking about using Sonic Holography with the SDA's? If so, I guess that would be personal opinion but it's my understanding thru the years that Polk did it the "passive" route whereas Carver did it electronically. I've honestly not sat and listened to it being engaged from my Carver C-1 preamp on the SDA's. I just listen to it w/o it and with the tone controls turned off. That's enjoyable enough for me. With both, it might be too much dimensional effect. YMMV.Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

That's what I thought. Just wanted an opinion. C-1's are nice simple and pure. Anybody else?

I can't get past the added noise when the Sonic Holography is engaged to sit down and listen to it. I'm with avguytx on this one, tone controls and Holography both off.Wristwatch--->Crisco

Thanks. Gonna try with all formats, (TT,CD,RTR,Etc.) And for poops and grins, MP3. -

The two of them together is worse than a 70's Japanese receiver driving a pair of Klipsch.

Ding Ding Ding!!! You are correct, sir!!!!! Just tried it and I now have a new paper weight! -
Yeah, that combination kinda reminded me of drinking Orange Juice after brushing your teeth.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Or.. Aluminum on your fillings. Tried it on and off. Went back to the C-2 and bridged M-200t's on the moni 10A's.

Couldn't have said it better! Definitely overkill with the two together!

From sonic memory. I heard an 'Omnisonic Imager' through SDA's and it was sort of like being on N02 at the dentist.
Carvers sonic holography is more subtle then OI however.
Has anyone here listened to a 'Q'sound recording through SDA's? I've never had the chance to hear that, the effect is probably close to what's being asked here.
I'd guess the odds of two products doing the same basic fixed dance would not line up in timing, that would probably take DSP.
