Behringer A500
Anyone tried running Rti12's on one of these things bridged at 500 watt's per channel?
How do they sound? Anyone had experience? Better then an Outlaw 2200 Monoblock?
Thanks!

The Behringer A500 (and all Behringer amps) are possibly the worst sounding, most unreliable units ever made to date.
Worked around Behringer amps and sell tons of them.
However, for their price you get what you pay for. I've had channels go bad as soon as it was installed. I've had a customer bring one back that had caught on fire... list goes on and on...
Haha, yet they are probally the best selling PA amp in the country, purely on price alone.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I think the outlaw will do better than that.....If you need a change, go to a Sunfire, or an older Carver amp.....Just my opinion...

I’m looking for a 2 channel amp (or mono blocks) that can deliver 400 Watts to the Rti12's. I want to spend under $1000. My plan is to get 7.1 channel ready for a pre/pro like the Integra 9.1. I would move the outlaw's to my surround. I want to get a powerful amp on the Rti12's since I mainly listen to music in 2.1 and really want to drive them. In my new room, Ill be sitting about 15’ or more back from them.Testing

I see your opinion changed a little bit since you started selling them.

Has a nice size power supply. Dosnt have alot of reserve power - nicely built, 3 year warranty - get a brand new one if it breaks... -

I know the Sunfire puts out that kind of power, but it will put you over budget though unless you watch the Gon for a really good deal.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

You might try bi-amping them with a couple of 200wpc amps...I use two channels from an Adcom 5503 (200x3) to drive the lower end of our RTi12's and an Adcom 5400 (125x2) to power the upper end...

I would buy a couple of NAD 2700 power envelope's bridge em and call it a day for a while, your going to get way more amp than the one your considering, or those adcom mono blocks cursed has in the FM.
