No affiliation.. but thought someone might be interested.

hey,
is it safe just to send a paypal to someone unknown like this? -
Well apparently the mods don't like him... But it's kind of my fault that he's been posting FS listings because I recommended he come here.
I DID let him know that he should have 25 posts before trying to sell stuff, but you know how it goes...
All that being said, you always take a risk buying something blindly online. But I suppose you could have a KC Polkie go over there and buy them for you or something... I dunno. -
I'm from KC and could probably go over and check out this gear if you are serious about buying it and have doubts about the seller.
In addition to asking for pictures and details through email, I've always found that giving the person a call and asking them about the gear gives you a pretty good indication as to whether they actually own it or if they are trying to pull a fast one on you. Have you talked to the seller over the phone yet?My HT

i think dane peterson gets first shot at this center channel.
if he passes, i may try to give the guy a call. i have corresponded with him via email and the center sounds like it is in great shape.
i'm just hoping it is not a person in south africa running a speaker scam. -
Mox,
I was going to buy this center until I discovered it was an "i" series. This doesn't match the rest of my system, and therefore I pass. It's all you man. From the voicemail he left me (with 2 numbers to reach him at) I feel he's a pretty stand up guy. -
i'm hesitant about buying this center just because i think i should wait and buy a LSiC center to match my LSi9s. What do you guys think?
My problem is i cannot find a good used one anywhere. The cheapest I have found it $499 new. If nobody in the U.S. is selling a used LSiC anymore, then I will have to bite the bullet and buy a new LSiC center . -
Be patient. You can find LSiCs for $300-350 if you wait.
-
i'll give anybody $25 if they can find me an LSiC center channel for less than $350.
