AQ type 4's VS CV4's DBS

Well I lucked out a long time ago, and got both pairs for $50 each. Both are solid core star quad configuration, but the CV4's have the DBS. I was going to sell the CV4's because the $500 price would bring about $200+ near new. I was Bi amping and had the 4's on the lows, and the CV4's on the highs. Well I switched to one amp for highs, and lows. I was running the regular 4's, and they just weren't there. I switched to the CV4's with the DBS, and it came back to life. 8 months ago I would have said it is a bunch of BS! I am listening to Diana Kraal now. The Girl Next Door. Her voice can get you drunk. Sweet, and soothing.

Edit: now I want to try MIT's DBS! although I love my silvers!
