It's more a matter of timing for me right now, just not ready to make the purchase for a few weeks... in the middle of a home sale at the moment and need to make sure it goes through smoothly first.

I am in the same boat and looking at all of my options. I am hoping the Onkyo 905 or the Denon 4308 will be enough to drive 4 LSi15 and a center LSiC. Maybe later I could add a Sunfire? Do you think either of those 2 amps could feed enough power to those speakers?Vizio 50" Plasma (soon to be Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD)

I am almost afraid to ask you how good your system must sound? Do you think the Onkyo 875 or Denon 3808 would be enough or what about the Onkyo 905 or the Denon 4308? I really would not like to get another power amp unless I must. Do any of these systems look like they would do a good job at running 4 LSi15 with a LSiC. The SVS Subs are both self powered.Vizio 50" Plasma (soon to be Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD)

If you're going to buy something to go with the LSi line, don't buy a reciever. Especially if you are going to have 4 LSi15s.
There are some exceptions, but for the prices of the items you listed you can get a sweet pre/pro and amp. You'll be much happier in the long run, and you'll never really have to worry about upgrading except for the pre/pro when the new super-digtal hd-dts hdmi whizbang zapadoodle that everybody must have comes out.
Once you buy a good amp, you can pretty much keep it forever. You're LSiS and your ears will thank you.
If you get a receiver... you'll always wonder "what if...?". -
What would you recommend for the pre/pro and amp combo? I am getting a new Pioneer Elite and I would like a nice system without breaking the bank. I love the technology going into these new amps like HDMI 1.3, and the new Reon chip, 4 HDMI outs ect... When I think of separates I always think that they are very expensive.Vizio 50" Plasma (soon to be Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD)

Separates ARE more expensive than receivers. But the receivers that do have the power to run 4ohm speakers cost just as much as separates. If you check the specs Mac, NONE of the receivers you listed state that they will drive 4ohm speakers.
So unless you are willing to play it low & sit on top of them to hear, save your money for separates or a lower cost receiver as well as a separate amplifier of at least 200wpc.
Look into Outlaw Audio for lower cost separates, or consider buying used on Audiogon.

I am really going through a learning curve right now and I want to thank you all for jumping in to help me and I hope I did not hijack this thread. I will start looking into separates and I have no problem buying used but I need to make sure I have at least 4 HDMI 1.3 outs. I will look into the option stated above. Not really a thread jack.. it's relevant to the topic.
Welcome, and use the search feature. You'll get loads of ideas on what you can and should get for your setup.

Hey Shannon,
I spoke to the closest Sunfire dealer, in Toronto Ontario ... 7 hours drive from where I am ... anyhow I was interested in the Theater Grand Amp (TGA) 7200. I inquired about the amp you have but they do not make that amp anymore so I settled for the 7200. I believe the step up the TGA-7400 would be the most comparable to your current piece .... ?
Anyhow he quoted a canadian price of $3999.99 (exchange rate 95 cents per 1 USD, approx. $3832 USD) but when I visit he would give me a "great deal" . I vividly remembering you saying that you got yours brand new for $1900 USD from a MRSP of $4500. You being an aggressive and impressive wheeler and dealer how much do you think one could shave off a $3999 price tag? Ive seen the TGA-7200 being posted for $2250-2450 US online from unauthorized dealers ... I would certainly try and get at least that. Any comments on this? Thanks.
Just for amusements sake here is the actual email from the dealer minus his name and dealer location:
Hi Zsolt,
The TGA-7200 is normally stickered at $3995. I recommend that we wait
until
your visit here to get you a really great price, as our costs on these
units
can fluctuate month-to-month. But I'll definitely take care of you on
this.
Look forward to meeting you,
Im a little worried about "being taken care of" it sounds like a mafia term for visiting a hole in the desert and getting a whack in the back of the head from a shovel :-)
