Felt like I stole a pair of Cherry LSi-9's when I only paid $499 for the pair at Tweeters - "going out of business sale" they have going on in Dallas area.

Darn shame I tell ya.

Even more upset at the Pioneer Elite AV-reciever I got for $399 to run em!

Tsk tsk... thier loss...my gain ;)

which tweeter did you get yours from?

I'm stopping by today to see if they still have the demo Ebony Lsi9s near me. They are a little roughed up, so I've been waiting for one more price break to get them for closer to $400.

Elite receiver will do well, but you may want to consider seperate amplification to make them really sing (unless the PE shows good 4-ohm specs). Wingnut recommends 200wpc. Which model receiver did you get?

    Good scores for sure!

the 82TSX ( 82 is correct I know that lol...)

I got mine at the Frisco store off Preston...

The Dallas toll near Beltline had some in Black I almost got- but I like the cherry better... They have a cherry pair- but beware- one of the speakers ( think its the left)_ aint right... did this on demo... The Black ones were sweet.

Yeah... I needed the Elite reciever for now...It sang quite well with the LSi-9's and it will only be doing 2 channel duty! For now...It will have too do.

Glad you didn't steal my LSi9s from the Tollway store. . . that's my turf :)

I'm gonna check on them after work. They've been holding tight for weeks. Almost bought them 2 weeks ago, then notice a chip or two and put them back. Wanted a black and silver stand they hard, but they wouldn't haggle on the price and someone else bought it.

Snooze, you lose. Hopefully it will work out for me on the black 9s.

I know the Black ones were there as of 3:00pm yesterday... still sitting on the shelf where they have been. They did get wise and take the cherry's off so some doof wont demo them and will end up sending them in to get fixed :(

    I almost got the lsi15's they had...but both were left...one cherry/one black

yeah, for just over $600, those Lsi15s are an awesome deal. Too bad they aren't right / left. You could take off the wood siding and be fine, but the tweeter on the wrong side would bug me.

If they drop in price, tho, to an insane deal level, maybe I buy them then :)

You could build a ghetto but plausible LSi setup for about $1400 if the prices drop again.

I just happen too be visiting my bro up there and seen the big sign on the store! It was my wifes Idea too go over there.

    I picked up a pair of RM7400's for $249
an XM marine kit for $39
    The LSi9's for 499
and the Elite 82TSX for 399- this was the only unit they had left that had the remote and all the junk that went with it.
