Tyler's May Special

It's really got me thinking. I honestly might jump into two-channel this month. $1200 for a pair of Taylo Mini Reference seems like a helluva bargain. And $1600 for the regular monitors is a great deal too. I've been looking at several tube amps. I wonder if an Onix would power these okay?
Damn you Club Polk! This site has been such an influence on me... but I still love you all.

Take your time and study your options. Keep in mind that they are always running monthly specials on nearly all of their speakers. As such, there seem to be three different pricepoints that Tyler assigns to each of his speakers and he continually cycles through them.
For example:
Linbrook floorstanding reference monitors
$3200 (list)
$2400 (factory direct)
$1800 (special)
If you can snag something on the used market (or maybe a "demo" from Tyler Acoustics), then you will truly have yourself a deal.I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
Tyler usually sells used speakers with two years warranty. They normally come from owners that trade them in. Just keep an eye on Audiogon.
