Is this a good deal, I have a chance to pick up these RTi150's for $270.00 and LS 50's for $225, Just how good are they and is the price worth the 250 Mile round trip drive?
I need to give a answer if I am going to buy them. I sure could use some help. I haven't seen these before on EBAY or anywhere else is why I am questioning the deal.

I had the RTi150s and I thought the were a great speaker. $270 sounds like a good deal. You need lots of power for them though.

Hey thanks for the reply, I nedd a question answered when you say it needs lots of power, do you mean it needs to be played loud or do you mean that it can be played at a low level but need the power to do this.
The offer to me now is to meet me half way and also will include Two LS 50's for $400.00 or $350.00 if I drive the hole distance.
It seems to be a really good deal even if I end up not likeing them.

Power as in amplifier watts. The RTi150 need a high current amp. I drove them with two NAD amps at 300 plus watts per channel and they sounded great. Before that I had a run of the mill Sony receiver rated at 100 watts per channel and they sounded like crap.
And hell ya they will play loud with the proper juice. -
I would be running them with a Yamaha RX-V 995 I am not sure what the power is on this unit I think 125 per

Well it turned out to be better than I thought, The speakers did turn out to be RTi 150's the surise was the LS's turned out to be LS 70's. I paid 350 for all of them and He drove a 150 miles to meet me for 50.00 in gas. Now what to do.
I have now 2 ls70's 2 ls50's 2 ls/fx surrounds 2 rt150's 1rt1000p 1rt1000i plus i think 2 sa 6's?
What would be the best setup HT -
Let your ears decide which way you want to go for the HT.
If it helps, I might be interested in buying the RTi150s off you if you end up not prefering them.
