    From my experience, I wouldn't buy an SVS sub with the hopes of it being musical.

    Good choice. You said you are likely to use the full potential of the sub so getting a better driver versus two IMO was the choice to make. Congrats!

    I'm running PCU myself with 15's and 7's. For music you will need some time to get it dialed in so it will blend but once it does it does it very well.

    Over the weekend that i ordered it, i changed my Order to a Plus/2 due to the recommendations from Ed at SVS and the size of my room.

    I love the Sub, i've had it since friday and its absolute insanity(how loud and low it goes) and I love it.
