I couldn't resist posting this here and letting everyone know what a hell of a deal I got!

I just bought 2 pairs of cherry LSi15's and an LSiC for a total shipped of...

$1850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used for a total of 5 months, mint condition, with original packaging!

I'm soooooo happy!!:D :D:D:D I've been waiting fo a deal like this for a LONG time!!

I can't wait, these will be connected to two Monster MPA 3250 amps. I currently have RTi8's and a CSi3. So, what is the upgrade like??:D

Very awesome! No doubt you'll enjoy those LSi's much more than the RTi's. And those Monster amps should give them a lot of power, too! Let us know how you like them!

I couldn't take the brightness with them on music anymore. The RTi8's are wonderful for HT. I'll definetly report back good or bad. : ) I'm really optimistic on this one!

I think the only problem I'll be running into is, setting these up with a SVS PC Ultra behind each LSi15 in the corners of the room? I think I might get some cancelling issues that I'll be dealing with? We'll see, I sure hope not?!

Outstanding deal for those and only 5mo old too. Post some pics when you get them up and running, I'm sure your gonna love'em. Try putting the subs in opposite corners of the room if you have wire long enough that should help.

    Congrats

    Dave,

The subs will be in opposite corners of the room. One corner will be a PCU and LSi15, the other corner will be the same. Am I missing something? I think I might have to get a SMS-1, I'm sure I'll be getting cancelling/phase issues?

    Holydoc-

Yep! A total of 4 LSi15's and a LSiC! I still can't believe it myself!! I could barely sleep last night in soo much excitement, I felt like a little kid all over again!

I'll post pics, but I won't be home until Feb. I'm in Ramadi, Iraq for the time being. I'll try to get my wife to snap some pics when they come in.

    Thanks

These are the pics from the guy I got them from...

Edit: These were also used for 6 months and not 5 months like I posted. I don't have the pics of the other set of LSi15's, but he reassured me that they are indentical in every way. He used them as surround speakers.

I'll make sure I let you know. Just be patient, I won't be home until Feb. They were a little overkill for the RTi8's, but they sure made them sound good. I'll be using them in conjunction with a Pioneer VSX-74TXVi for right now.

    Rod,

I'm currently waiting from an answer from a friend back at home. That way I don't have to ship and I could always deal with the warranty for the next 5 yrs if he has any issues. I posted them in the classifieds here for sale. If I don't get an answer soon, I'll PM you or else Ebay them.

They are immaculate as new, used for maybe a total of 6-7 months. I didn't even use the RTi8 surround speakers they never got connected. They are just sitting around collecting dust.

    Well,

My father stopped by the house lastnight and helped my Wife unpack my new LSi's that arrived lastweek. It's been bothering me all week when they arrived, that I had to have them checked out to see if they were damaged in any way?

He yelled at me and said "These speakers are NEW, not used!". I had to tell him one more time that they were bought off Ebay and used for roughly 6 months. He assured me that if these are used I can't tell them apart from new, there isn't a mark on them. They were packaged so well in their original carton, he said.

I'm soo damn happy now!!:D :D I just can't wait to come home now and hook these babies up to my amps!!

    Mike:)

    Scott-

The "Monsters" are pushing the LSi's quit well, seem to hardly break a sweat!:)

The sound and clarity comming from these speakers is just phenomenal compared to my old RTi8's. Defenitly worth the upgrade and am now one extremely happy owner!:D

...Until we have the gathering and Joey brings over the Plinius and ML summits.:(

Mike, I noticed in one of your pics that you're using four remotes. Ever consider getting a Sony (touchscreen), a Logictech Harmony, or some other programmable remote? I have two of the Sonys (one for each room) and I was able to put away six remotes. Just a thought...

    Mike,I have to say:What an awesome set-up!!!

The Cherry LSI's are gorgeous, they match your cabinet perfectly...and all that gear is giving me MAJOR wood.

Curious as to how the twin Ultras are working out,I've been thinking about picking up another one myself...

The Cherry wood on the LSi's don't exactly match perfectly, but they do accent the cabinets nicely.

I love the twin Ultra's, I'd never go back to just one.:)
