Damn near the funniest movie I have ever seen, and only released on DVD in the UK. I would love a copy.

One of my top ten of all time! My mom found a copy of Rocket Man in DVD for my dad's birthday. I'll have to find out where. They are still on VHS / DVD and we all get together to just watch it about once a year and laugh til it hurts!

Love that film. A rare work of genius :D

    Hi Ethancf

I noticed that you like hockey fights, me too. However I don't want to watch a fight between players with helmets on. I was wondering if you could direct me to a VHS or DVD of Vintage Bruins fights in 1970s. I have a VHS copy but the quality is very poor. They have great 120 minutes of fights with Bobby Orr, Wayne Cashman, Trerry O'rielly, you get the idea.

    Thanks for any help.

    Jeeeee----zuuuuus!!!

I had forgotten about his flick:D Is this where they visited the PBR brewery and swim in the vats? Geeks on mopeds? Melons at the BigBoy? I must have been in 1st grade last time I saw this one....

Thanks for the blast from the past

That is if this is the same movie...:p

For all you guys 'searching for Rocketman on DVD'...try this:

    Go to www.ebay.com
    Click in the search box
Type in "Rocketman DVD" (without the quotes)
Click the button that says "Search" (again without the quotes)

    I'm being an **** I know, I'm sorry...couldnt resist :)

Actually I've been looking for this as well and just now thought to check out eBay, wonder if those are legit or just some crappy copies some guy made of the VHS version...looks to be legit though...

It's there.. Don't look through the movies they are giving away, at the top of the page click on (Disney Video + DVD) then just look up Rocketman in the movie finder... Thats it... Rocketman on DVD is there for sale through the movie club.. My sister belongs to the club, and I found it listed for $19.95. KIRK

Goto the top of the page, click on Disney video + dvd then look for Rocketman.. or here is the page http://disneyvideos.disney.go.com/moviefinder/products/4000203.html That page is just for the videos they give away for the introductory offer... KIRK

If anyone else here is a member of the Disney Movie Club, please let me know. I really don't want to sign up for it if I can afford it, and I will throw some money your way for the extra hassle. I don't have kids so there's not a lot of incentive to join this club as there would be another.

Got this bad boy today for $5.99 at Best Buy. They were in the "Oh my, we're trying to unload all of this CRAP," section next to the new releases. Oddly enough, I nabbed the last copy of it and there were tons of the other movie. It DID come from the Disney Movie Club, though....weird.

Can't explain it, this movie is so incredibly funny.

No it isn't Danny! Nor the Bionic Woman. There is a major battle going over who actually owns the rights to both series & until it gets straightened out, we are left hanging!

I asked because I was reminiscing about the show, actually both shows, on a Hong Kong forum and it's already officially released there.

Why can't we get these shows here on DVD? I remember that was the case with Miami Vice as well.

I wish "Revolver" by Guy Ritchie, was available via Region 1 as it is in Europe! Whats up with that? Cause Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch were sweeeet!

Universal owns the rights to the shows, but they let the rights to the book "Cyborg" on which the shows are based lapse.

Someone else owns the book now & they probably want big bucks from Universal in order to release the DVD's of both shows here!

For others not so lucky to find it in a bin at Best Buy or a Disney Movie Club member, couldn't you just order it from Amazon UK? I've never done it before so I have no idea if it's feasible or how expensive shipping to the states would be.
