I hate to admit I was never covinced that the SDA's were all they are cracked up op be on this forum. Well. I am officailly a convert. I hooked up the SDA's to my B&K amp and was waiting to be impressed. Well, I was amazed. I listened to Pink Floyd Animals and Steve Miller Born to be Blue. I was in heaven. Even my 2 year song was asking for more "songs". I am using a Lexicon MC1 and checked at least twice to ensure I was in direct mode. I was convinced the side and rear speakers were on. The soundstage is huge and the imaging is incredible. I can't wait until tomorrow when I can crank it! Thanks Polkies! Now I have to sell some RT3000P's. I don't think they will be hard to sell!

    Jeff,

Congrats. Glad you are getting your SDA groove on. I also enjoy the sound of the B&K with the SDA's.

Jesse, I mean no disrespect. Yours sounded awesome. I was just not impressed with the 2B's in my setup. I wasn't convinced that your sounded so good because of the speakers or the fantastic source, amp and cables. Mine ae hooked up to a Lexicon MC1, B&K amp with crappy Monster speaker cables and they sound great. Not to your level, but still awesome in my HT setup.

Welcome to the BIG SDA club! The 2.3's at that. Gonna change out the tweeters in them? Go for the silk domes. I did mine and don't regret it one bit.

Jesse, you're just a madman! That MF setup is so damn fine! I still remember my audition. Thats what made me change out the tweeters in mine.

Have a ball and light up the neighborhood!
