Hey can y'all give some suggestions for some pre/pro's and some amps that I should look into? I'm only gonna be having Monitor 70's for fronts, CS 2 for center, Monitor 40's for surrounds & rear surrounds, and PSW 12 sub for a little bit. I might upgrade the sub in a little bit but not too sure. I need some suggestions of who to look to for a good pre/pro & amp and how I should hook up each speaker. Thanks

You'll definitely want an ML, Krell, or Classe amp to run those towers.

Does this mean you'll be changing your name to polk_audio_monitors?

thought less quotes by polk audio lsi

(QUOTE) On a serious note though it's just me and my girlfriend are in some serious financial trouble right now and it's been a big thing to me to have my own home theater system for a couple of years now. And it's taken me a couple of years to have just A LITTLE and I'm soooo impatient to have a really nice home stereo that I tend to blabber on and on about something that, honestly, I'll probably never have. So I really do apologize.(QUOTE)

Agreed. If you are in financial trouble, and you spend any amout of time asking about HT setups instead of busting your **** to make some money, your priorities are seriously out of whack.

I honestly thought you were just saying to be mature and ignore him (ie, do not reply to his initial post in the first place). I didn't think there was an ignore button/function. . . guess I was wrong.

    Thanks for heads up cfrizzle!

Been awhile since we had a thread like this.........I was beginning to think all the fun went out of this board. But then comes in Wonder Audio Boy polk_audio_lsi..........and Bam...........fun times again!

There is always ONE around the corner.

My suggestion...sell everything you have and start over. Your 1st new piece should be
    370hssv-0773h
    that'll get 'er done.

So, pal, suggest you visit the websites for B&K, Outlaw, Rotel, and Sunfire. There you'll find lots of pretty pictures which you can download and add to your showcase.
