I bought a harman kardon 335 for $350, I can get the 635 at fry's for $599 its on sale. Should I buy the 635 or would I be better off with a 335 and an amp? If so what would be the price range that would be enough power, but not very expensive?
Setup:

2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

Nice choice on the 10's. They're my favorite in the RTi line.

As for your question... I'd go the 335 and amp route.

The added 20 wpc the 635 brings isn't enough to justify the added $150, so unless there's something else you like about the 635, I'd pass on it.

$150 is a bit light for a decent 2 ch amp, even in the used market. Although I did just see a mint, old Carver M-400 go for $153. Suggest you be happy with what you have for a while and save up a bit more. You're not that far away from some nice used options.

Is there a sub in the picture?

$599-$350 is $249. . . which is pretty decent for a 2-channel amp. You could get Adcom 545s, carvers tfm 15/25s, and a bunch of other options at that price.

I recently got 2 carver tfm-6cbs for free. At 200 wpc bridged, they would wake your RTi10s up, and for $250, you could do even better than that.

Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850

DOH! I was still in my IRS math mode... ;)

Yup, for $250 options come running. Even saw a Carver M-1.5t go for $249 recently.
