I always thought the King was creepy in a "Chester the Molester" sort of way.

I wonder who BK is using for their ad agency??? They are gonna lose business over these types of ads, imo.

I'd have to disagree; in fact, most people I have talked to about their newer King commercials like them.

Most of the people I have talked with are anywhere from 25-55 yrs old, with most of them being in their 40's. Most middle-aged folks are not as uptight as people seem to think anymore.
And you are also assuming that most people actually pay attention to what their children watch on TV; they don't. That's why they are in front of the TV, so their parents can be unburdened with them.

Volkswagen just hired the same marketing group that BK is currently using. VW's new "Unpimp your ride" commercials are turning quite a few heads, as well as the "Fast" ones.

I fall in to the 20-30 age group, and I think that whatever they are doing, keep doing it! I think they are halarious! :P

I haven't done it yet, but I'm going to try and buy a "My Fast" character to put on my rear deck.....those commercials crack me up.

Girl: "Can we please roll the windows up?" (her hair flailing all over her face......)

Guy: "Honey, I can't hear the purr of my engine with you yaking over there......."

Hence, the problem with todays society. The **** tv is not a babysitter!!!

Volkswagen's consistently had some of the most clever ads on television for the past 5 years. Would be a shame if they switched ad houses. The "my fast" ones are OK, nowhere near as clever as some of their earlier ads.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I think they are marketing a much younger group with their switch. They revamped their total line of cars for 2006, which now includes a much sportier Mark V (GTI). I believe their ads are working too.

Now if they'll lose their, "Clever" touch from the past 5 years, time will only tell.
