FXi3's handle more than the 5's??
According to the specs on this website, it states that the FXi3's handle 150 watts while the FXi5's only handle 125?? Is this just a typo or how can this be??

Since this post has been sitting awhile I can only guess the answer is "i dont know"
I'll make a guess... But I know nothing of speaker engineering so it is probably wrong... Maybe it has something to do with having two tweeters in the FXi speakers as opposed to the usual one i other models...-Stopher

i'm sure it's simply a misprint from Polk.
afterall Bose's only advertised "spec" is "the most respected name in sound."
no wait.. that's not a misprint. that's ****. -

ROFLMAO!! That was pretty funny!!
I figured it was a misprint, but does anyone know what the rating is one the FXi5's? I guess a quick call wouldn't hurt, just looking for a quick answer. Thanks...

As long as you have clean power going to them, I wouldn't get concerned about the power ratings. I have 200 wpc feeding my Fxi5's and they sound great.DKG999
