lol just put it in repeat, looks like there's a lot more "action" going on.

Reminds me of the movie "Brainstorm" (the one Natalie Wood was filming when she died). If you haven't seen it, the movie is about scientist that can record human brainwaves and play them back with the recipient able to experience ALL of the sensory expeience of the person that was recorded. One of the scientist recorded a man having sex and ultimately an ****. He then put the recorded brainwaves in a loop....sat in his recliner and hooked himself up. Needless to say, they found him the next morning, dead from a heart attack, but still twitching from the recorded brainwaves (I believe he had a smile on his face).

Too much action, right? It was exhausting--Like King Kong. They got so caught up with doing the 15 minute fights, that the story got lost.

Directors note: The fight scene need only be about 3 minutes for the audience to get that the 2 people don't like each other.

Too much redundant stupid action. Like a kiddie cartoon.

never even heard of that movie... I'll have to IMDB it.

Anyhow, as for DM'sC... I thoroughly enjoyed it but they definitely could've pulled 30-45 minutes out of it and kept everything they were trying to accomplish in tact. But with all the JUNK coming out of hollywood these days and in the near future, I guess I'll take this and shut up.

Did you know that Brainstorm was part of a trilogy? This was the first of 3 stories/screenplays written by Bruce Joel Rubin that dealt with death and the afterlife. His second was a little better known...."Ghost" and the third was not as well known but a better movie IMO..."Jacob's Ladder".

No, I never realized the connection. Never seen Jacobs Ladder, heard of it, but never saw it. I'll have to check that out.

Strange because the first one had DTS. I have been finding it harder lately to come across DVD's with DTS.......why?

Kind of a big deal for me because for some reason DD tracks are not working on player. I can play them but when my processor won't decode them in DD....have to decode as PCM and do the Neo thing...not the same.

This is the only movie that got me to the theaters this year. A must buy. Two disc with slip cover. I was really hoping for the DTS ES track.
Great dvd review and i can't wait to watch on the HT.

I bought the regular, is the two CDs really THAT much better with no DTS? I guess assuming that I sit through watching the "making of.." and others.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
